color me a luddite or a conspiracy theorist but I find that google is taking over the world. Now don't get me wrong I like some of their fancy technology. yay for gmail. On the other hand google earth and this form of google map with the street view...in so far as you can read peoples license plates kind of makes me feel like big brother is watching. :::insert horror film music here:::
Now I know that there already cameras everywhere especially in the UK (CCTV) but there is a difference in who is allowed to see what. Granted big brother could still be watching those but jo schmo stalker can't be zoomed in on my work.

I know this doesn't have anything to do with libraries other then the fact you can track them down and see what they building looks like without ever leaving the comforts of your computer chair. It just highlights how much technology has evolved and how quickly it is growing.
